Bauchi ATAP Graduate Died In An Accident- Africa Daily News

A hopeful, but physically challenged graduate who has been mobilized for the National Youth Service Corps, Muhammad Buhari Jamda involved in an accident has died in Bauchi.

The deceased, who defied his physical challenge to undergo Higher National Diploma in Mass Communication at the Abubakar Tatari Ali Polytechnic died on Monday after sustaining injury last week Saturday.

It was gathered that Jamda was before his death, the state secretary of the state agency of physically challenged persons in Bauchi. 

A lecturer and a former Program Coordinator in the department, Malam Abdul Burra described the decease as a very committed person who was eager to succeed.

Burra wrote in his Facebook Tuesday morning, "I am very shocked and saddened by the news of the demise of Muhammad Buhari Jamda as a result of an accident along Bauchi Club".

He explained that Buhari was a disabled person who saw ability in his disability by working hard to pursue his goals and ambitions.

"He was my HND student who later made me his guardian. Everyday he would come to my office to greet me or seek advice on variety of issues", Burra stated.

He informed that despite his disability, the decease was very regular, serious and attentive in class.

According to him, Buhari's respect to all and commitment to achieve his goals are exemplary.

"Weeks ago, he told me that he is mobilized for NYSC and hoped to be in Camp next month, unknown to us he will not live to attain the feat he so much cherished", Mallam Burra said. 

The program coordinator who prayed Allah to repose the soul of the decease, said death is indeed a lesson for all to learn.
