Professor Abubakar Gwarzo Names FBIU Lecture Theatre After Late Driver, Ali Dauda

The President and Founder of Maryam Abacha American University of Niger and Franco-British International University (FBIU), Kaduna, Prof. Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo, has named a lecture theatre at FBIU after the late Chief driver of MAAUN, Malam Ali Dauda.

Malam Ali Dauda who was popularly known as BABA ALI, died on Friday, 23rd July 2021 in kano after a brief illness.

Speaking at brief ceremony while unveiling of name on Monday in Kaduna, Prof. Abubakar Gwarzo said the decision to name the theatre after Baba Ali was because of his commitment and selfless service to the university in Niger during his life time.

He said naming the lecture theatre after Baba Ali would enable the university community to continue to remember the deceased while encouraging other staff members to be hard working and committed to their duties.

Prof. Abubakar Gwarzo prayed to Almighty Allah to forgive the deceased and grant him Aljannah Firdaus and give his family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

May the Almighty Allah grant the deceased eternal rest, ameen.
