BREAKING: Vice President Yemi Osibanjo Officially Declares For President

Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo 

Vice President of Nigeria, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, has formally declared his interest to contest for President in 2023 election.

Osibanjo made this known in a 6 minutes video released on Monday morning.
He said, “I believe that the very reason that the Almighty God gave me these experiences, these insights and these opportunities is that they must be put to the use of our great country and its great peoples.
“Which is why today, with the utmost humility, I’m formally declaring my intention to run for the office of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on the platform of our great party, the All Progressives Congress.
Osibanjo said, if given the opportunity to become president, he promise to“ provide an opportunity for businesses to fly.

“I’ll make sure the government agencies serve the businesses and also enhance our social investment and complete the task of lifting 100m Nigerians out of poverty.

“I seek the support of every Nigerian to work together by the grace of God to achieve a greater Nigeria.”

Osibanjo started his career in public service in 1988 as an legal adviser to the Attorney-General and Minister of Justice, Bola Ajibola, for four years.
He was appointed Attorney-General of Lagos State in 1999 by then Governor, Bola Tinubu, untill 2007.

He was nominated s President Buhari’s running mate in 2014 and they won the election in 2015
