PDP, APC Point Accusing Finger at One Another Over Supporters Clash at Duguri Town

The People's Democratic Party PDP in Bauchi State has  condemned in strong terms the  attack on it's supporters which resulted to the killing of one person at Duguri town in Alkaleri Local Government Area.

The Director General of the PDP Gubernatorial Campaign Council, Malam Faruq Mustapha while speaking to journalists on the incident disclosed that one Malam Mai'unguwa Shata died and fifteen others sustained various degrees of injuries

Meanwhile the opposition All Progressives Congress APC in the state accused the PDP of engaging the services of  suspected hired thugs carrying dangerous weapons and unleashed attacks on the convoy of it's Gubernatorial Candidate Air Marshal Sadiq Baba Abubakar retired at Duguri town

A statement signed by the Director, Media and Publicity Salisu Barau alleged that three people including conventional and nonconventional security agents sustained gunshots when the APC campaign rally was being held in the area. 

This incident was coming at the wake of  signing of Peace Accord by all the Gubernatorial Candidates at the State Police Headquarters.
