Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed of Bauchi State has presented official vehicles to all the twenty local government Caretaker Committee Chairmen.
The brand new Peugeot (406) were presented to each of the Caretaker Committee Chairmen to ease official responsibilities and promote productivity.
Presenting the vehicles at Government House Bauchi on behalf of the Governor, the Secretary to the State Government Barr. Ibrahim Kashim said Governor Bala Mohammed is pleased with their prudence in handling the affairs of the Local Councils hence the move to support them.
The state Commissioner Ministry for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs Abdurrazak Nuhu Zaki assured the ministry's determination to complement the effort of Governor Bala Mohammed towards repositioning the Local Government administration system
Abdurrazak Nuhu Zaki also commended Governor Bala Mohammed for the total overhaul of all the Local Government Secretariats and Palaces of District Heads across the state
Speaking on behalf of the Caretaker Chairmen, the State Chairman, Association of Local Government of Nigeria (ALGON) Alhaji Umaru Hassan expressed appreciation to the Governor.
Umaru Hassan who is also the Caretaker Chairmen of Katagum Local Government promised their continuous loyalty to Governor Bala Mohammed's led administration.
