Governor Bala Of Bauchi Interacts With State's Pilgrims In Makka, Gives 300 Riyals to Each Pilgrim

Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed of Bauchi state on Thursday evening donated 300 Saudi riyals to each of the over three thousand Bauchi state pilgrims who participated in this year's hajj exercise in the holy land of Saudi Arabia. 

The governor announced the donation when he visited the pilgrims from the state at their Munna tent to appreciate them for their good conduct throughout their stay in the holy land. 

Governor Bala Mohammed commended the pilgrims for respecting authorities both in Nigeria and in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and assured that his administration will not relent in supporting the state pilgrims welfare board in order to provide best services to the pilgrims. 

He however said the state government will partner with the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) to address and overcome some challenges being experienced by the states Hajj commissions while in the hold land of Saudi Arabia. 

"I am here to congratulate the entire pilgrims from Bauchi for this life time privilege from Almighty Allah to visit the holy land for pilgrimage. I salute your statesmanship and that of the officials for your commitment towards protecting the image of our dear state in the  holy land .

The governor used the medium to express his profound gratitude to the pilgrims for their prayers for the success of his administration and urged them to sustain the tempo for the best interest of the state and its citizens.

On his part, the state Amirul Hajj, the Emir of Ningi, Alhaji Yunusa Mohammed Danyaya who spoke through his deputy, Dallami Ahmed Kawule applauded the governor for supporting the committee to provide good services to the pilgrims both in Bauchi and while in the holy land.

In their separate remarks, the chairman and the Executive Secretary of the State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Nuru Adamu Jumba, Imam Abdurrahman Ibrahim Idris reiterated their commitment to support the administration of Governor Bala Mohammed to succeed in this transcendental journey of making Bauchi State great.
