YCF Urges Workers to Reject Corruption, Embrace Accountability, Call for Higher Wages

Bauchi State Youth Consultative Forum (YCF) has encouraged workers at all levels to reject corruption, avoid mismanagement of public funds, and embrace accountability, honesty, and integrity as fundamental principles in their roles. 

This call was made during the 2024 May Day celebration by Chairman Hon. Umar Lauya Hardawa, Danejon Jarkasa, Falakin Hardawa who emphasized the pivotal role of Nigerian workers in combating corruption, stressing that their choices determine the success of this fight.

"The Nigerian workforce, predominantly comprising youths, holds immense power in shaping our nation's integrity,"

"We must continuously educate and empower them to champion a corruption-free ethos across all sectors and workplaces", Hon. Umar Lauya Hardawa said. 

The forum also called upon the government to enhance incentives and bonuses for workers, aiming to boost morale, performance, and overall productivity within the system.
