2023: Gov Bello For President Posters Bids Eid-Fitr Celebrants In Bauchi

Campaign posters of Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State depicting his aspiration for the presidency ahead of 2023 elections and greeting Muslims for Eid-el fitr celebrations have flooded Bauchi, Katagum and Misau emirates in Bauchi State.

The three emirates which are the biggest emirates in the state where people of the state gathered for Eid-el fitr celebrations have the presidential campaign posters of Governor Yahaya Bello flooding them. 

The posters which were visible in virtually all strategic points of the emirate headquarters visibly indicates that Yahaya Bello is the most fitting personality to be Nigeria’s next president comes 2023 general elections

The posters as coined by producers “Nigerian Youth Awareness Group” Yahaya Bello for President 2023 Barka da Sallah flooded every parts of the three emirates as the posters were pasted on electricity and street light poles, roundabout walls, on disused signs and billboards, and on any available space available in cities, towns and villages.

The posters as at Sunday were noticeable in several places along Kano - Maiduguri Road, Awalah Hotel Roundabout, Jos Road at Eagle Round About and Gombe Road at Central Market Round About, as well as various other public buildings and places 

‘Bello Barka da Sallah Posters’ were seen at various other locations including Wunti Market Round About, Dass-Tafawa Balewa Road; and in Azare at Kasuwar Kaji Market, Along Jama’are – Kano Road, Bulkachuwa and Gadau Roads, at Azare Central Motor Park, and various other strategic locations, while in Misau at the vicinity of General Hospital, Motor Parks and Markets, among others. 

The posters have however generated comments from residents, most of whom maintained that the posters are clear indications that the group sponsoring the posters are promoting the aspiration of Governor Yahaya Bello, and for change from the youths as Yahaya Bello their candidate.

“Let’s see if he gets to be president come 2023 what difference would make as a young and very vibrant person”, one of the residents in Bauchi submitted.

Some APC supporters in Bauchi, Sani Sule who resides at Wunti and Jamila Bala of Bakaro Quarters both prayed to Allah to give Nigeria a president that will focus on the real and genuine problems bedeviling the country.

Efforts to get the comment of State APC Chairman, Uba Ahmed Nana or the Publicity Secretary of the party on the new political development failed, but a senior official in the party who doesn't want his name in print said the party saw the posters like other citizens and were happy with all aspirants of the party.

He explained however that the party will only express its position after the party primary elections, and whoever emerges as the candidate of the party will surely have their votes, adding “For now all members of the party are equal in the eyes of the party”.
