NSUK, PSIN Sign MoU on Staff Training, as Vice-Chancellor Gets Inducted Into PSIN Hall of Fame

The Nasarawa State University, Keffi, and the Public Service Institute of Nigeria (PSIN) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding that will see the two institutions collaborating on staff training, capacity building, and staff exchange, among other deliverables.

Both the Vice-Chancellor of the University, Professor Suleiman Bala Mohammed and the Administrator/ Chief Executive Officer of the Institute, Abdul-Ganiyu Obatoyinbo, witnessed the ceremony at the PSIN Headquarters held recently in Abuja.

The event also saw conferment of the prestigious Epic Public Servant Award and admission of the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Mohammed, into the PSIN Hall of Fame by the CEO of the Institute, Mr. Obatoyimbo.

According to Mr. Obatoyinbo, the award was conferred on Professor Mohammed because of his Integrity, selfless dedication to duty, incorruptibility, and service to humanity. 

He said the Vice-Chancellor, with the induction, has joined the league of other eminent Nigerians to be so awarded. 

The Public Service Institute of Nigeria (PSIN) is the central learning institution for the Nigerian Public Service. It plays a pivotal role in developing people for a first-class public service. 

The Institute offers a comprehensive suite of programmes that build strategic capacity in the public service, focusing mainly on core areas in public governance, leadership, public administration and management.
